We also have four very unusual silver gilt silk winders, which are usually made in Mother of pearl!
These custom made pieces are hallmarked London 1831 by silversmith Christopher John Buckler and measure 4.3cm across and each individual winder weighing 15gm.
They have a matted and scroll decoration finish with a central crown with initial “ N “in a reverse cypher.
