George III Entree Dishes London 1821 by Richard Sibley

A pair of unusually large covered entreé dishes with gadroon, foliate and shell borders which are around 20% heavier than normal. They are engraved with the arms of Lindsay quartering Abernethy as borne by the 6th Earl of Balcarres (minus supporters). Measurement across is 13.4" (34cm) by 9.4" (23.5cm) deep.
