George III Coffee Pot London 1766 by William & James Priest

A Rococo coffee pot featuring rose-filled baskets and roseate tendrils, the pot stands 11.3" (29cm) high to its eye-catching cover finial. Engraved with original crest of a greyhound on a leash and armorials, probably a variant of Allen of Essex.
