Calcutta c1840 Hamilton and Co.

A Colonial Mug, made in Calcutta, c1840 by Hamilton and Co.; the waisted body with embossed floral decoration, in the front forming a wreath and inscribed: "Walter Carruthers Sellar, January 1899".  With applied handle and molded short pedestal foot.  Measuring approx. 4.5" (11.5cm) to the top of the handle.
