A good set of four candlesticks,10"(25.5) high with shell and vertical fluted shaped circular bases, the stems and sconces with similar decorative motifs. Made in 1842 by the Crewick family of silversmiths in Sheffield, which of course was the main centre for candlestick making in Silver and Old Sheffield plate outside of London. Our sticks are in good condition and bear a stag's head erased crest.
