This spoon is of fun form, with a very rounded top to stem and very small lobe between the “ears”. It is an early trefid probably made in Winchester. It has marks on it, which are found on church plate (Ecclesiastical silver) from this area. It is engraved on the front of the stem “W S” over “I N” over “1676”. It measures 7.25 inches long and weighs 1 ounce 3 pennyweights. (36.5 grams).
