Salisbury c1630 John Greene I

An English Provincial Seal Top Spoon, made in Salisbury c1630 by John Greene I and overstruck by George Barnes of Exeter; the large baluster seal over an octagonal stem with fig shaped bowl.  Pricked on back of bowl "IC over AC 1656".  Measuring approx. 6.75" (17.2cm) long.
