A pair of Scottish Salvers, made in Edinburgh in 1743 by James Weems; the Chippendale scalloped border and rim surrounding a scrolling floral flat chased band centered by the engraved crest of Wemyss.  Mounted on short cabriole legs with pad feet.  Measuring approx. 10" (25.5cm) in diameter.
