A Kitchen Nutmeg Grater made in London in 1811 by Thomas Phipps, James Phipps II and Edward Robinson. Of typical 'D' section with flat silver back engraved with crest of an arm erect holding in the gauntlet a cross crosslet, fixed steel grater to front, gadroon edge border and hinged base. It measures 1.75" (4.5cm) wide and 4.25" (10.5cm) long.
