A good heavy pair of late George III Salt Cellars, made in London in 1818 by Craddock and Reid; traditional circular form with rope molded upper rims.  Overall decorated with  cross hatch panels and basket of flower motifs.  Shell and scroll knees and three paw feet, gilt interior. Engraved with the crest of a greyhound's head above a ducal coronet.
