A superb George III Soup Tureen, made in London in 1807 by Thomas Robins; circular in form with gadrooned rims all around.  Two applied molded handles and pedestal base. Domed cover with applied loop handle.  Engraved with the Arms and Crest of the Dunn Gardner family of Chatteris House in the Isle of Ely. Measuring approx. 12" (30.4cm) high.
