French Covered Sugar Bowl Paris 1783 by René Pierre Ferrier

Pierced and with a blue glass liner, this covered bowl, which is marked on the lid and under the base, measures 7" (18cm) across the punch bead handles and 3.3" (8.5cm) to top of the rim of the body.
The mark of René Pierre Ferrier, whose symbol was a rooster, has been noted on silver from 1775.
