An English Provincial Apostle Spoon, made in Exeter c.1663 by the rarely-encountered maker Arthur Glanville; probably of St. Matthew (no emblem as is common), with angled octafoil nimbus and pricked on the back of the bowl ML over IC and the date 1663.  Foreign control mark in bowl. Measuring approx. 7.5" (19.2cm).
