A Teniers inspired coffee pot with high relief scenes of villagers drinking, dancing and making music outside the Inn - inspired by typical 17th century Dutch and Flemmish genre painting and in particular David Teniers II (1610-1690) who is best known for his peasant scenes. The pot measures 5.5" (14cm) to rim, 7.4" (19cm) to top of finial, 4.1" (10.5cm) across the belly and is also stamped with foreign control marks.
