An English Coffee Biggin, made in London in 1808 by John Fountain; the cylindrical pot with domed and molded cover mounted by an acorn style finial.  Bold, thread edge molded applied spout and stylized "C" shaped wooden applied handle.  This all rests on a three legged stand with burner.  Engraved with the Arms of Clarke impaling Pearce.  Measuring approx. 12 3/8" (31.5 cm.) high; the base diameter of the pot is 4".
