A comprehensive set of Shield Top or Dognose pattern which is of c1700-1715 style but the forks are more practically four-pronged style as found on 1800 flatware
Most of the set was made in 1923 but it was added to in later years. Four of the dessert forks have three prongs; none of the Vanders is crested nor the Dixon, the rest have crest and motto for Ackroyd and it is housed in a wooden box.
