The Silver Sudbury Prizes of Emmanuel College Cambridge.
Published London 1996 J.H. Bourdon-Smith Ltd.
by Timothy Kent. £15 + P&P
This
study should appeal to those concerned with antique silver and its history,
notwithstanding that the subject-matter is restricted to one specialised
field. Modern silver studies aim to place the subject in its historical
and social context, and an account of a silver College prize awarded over
a period of two hundred years, with details of its winners, cannot fail to
add something to our sum of knowledge. Softcover. 8.5"x8", 34 pages, b/w
illustrations. |
